I hate to be so unoriginal, but at this time, my favorite moment was at OC

when Al was kind enough to give me a scarf. I had front row seats for the

whole week (thanks so much to Maria for the ticket upgrades!!).

When Al was introducing OMM, he started by talking about unrequired love

and how painful it was to yearn for someone, to have a deep emotional bond with someone...IN YOUR HEAD!, I just couldn't stop cackling. A few

minutes later he came down the steps along the front row and stopped at

me, wrapping the scarf around my neck. Wow! I can die a happy woman now :)

On Thursday, Al had an autograph signing so I was able to get a photo with him and a get well card signed for my sister. (When I gave the card to Vicki, she was SO THRILLED! She had wanted to go to the concerts with me but her health was not up to it. Her delighted reaction to Al's card really made my day!)

I also got a chance to talk to Steve a bit after the show. I think Steve has come out after ALL of the shows I've attended (20 now), but I never knew

how to start a conversation or what to say. He is just a delightful person,

(which should surprise no one).!

Anyway, I'd better stop blabbering for now. My hubby is giving me the evil eye. :)

So, SG, was getting a second scarf better than getting the first one?

Also, I think you were in the same seat as the first time, or at least nearly the same seat. Hmm. I wonder if there's a pattern.

I ended up with Al's boxers on Monday night and I almost jumped out of my seat from excitement, but then I remembered Mongo. The thrill was no less than when Al sat on my lap in Great Falls, Montana.

Wow, what a guy!

Finally, I think the Friday night shows were definitely the best and the most frenzied. I think the audience was louder than Al!

You always remember the first time best. (Besides, Al wasn't doing much

[or any] lap-sitting this time around -- drat!) But I was still quite surprised!

I'll send the picture I took of you right after Al's boxers! You sure

are glowing!

my favorite memory was being at the OC Fair and seeing Al in concert!! it all started when i begged and begged my dad to take me to it for about 3 or 4 months before and he said yeah but we had to go on the 26th because my dad had things to do on the rest of the days. wei got to the fair at about 4 or 5 and the first place we went to was the Weird Al Experience!!! when we got into the Experience i thought i was in heaven i kept asking my dad "Did i die? Is this heaven?" lol and we looked around and i bought a shirt and a bucket hat. my dad wanted to look around the fair and i wanted to stay in the Experience but my dad said that i had to go with him!!!! he literatly had to drag me out of there!!!!!!!!!!!!!! anyway the concert was soo cool!!! I was so amazed and i got to meet Jim and Miles!! AL WAS 4 FEET AWAY FROM ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i was so excited and i was hoping to get a scarf or the boxers but he turned the corner. this is kinda embarrasing but I cried whe Al turned the corner during OMM. the little clips during the costume changes were cool and i met a lot of nice Al fans after the last concert. my experience was the best in the world and i would do it all over again if i had a chance to!!!!!!!!!!

He became Francine back in 76' and then he joined that cult. I think his name is Mother Shibubu now.

That's another thing itself. It's also a great memory of meeting other Al fans and hanging out with them. :)

My favorite concert moment was after the concert when I got an autograph from him. I also showed him that I can put my leg over my head and hop around like him. He thought it was cool.

Well, my favorite moment has to be at the OC Fair 2002 show, seeing as it was my first Concert ever.....

My favorite is a toss up. One was during the medley, and everything went black, then there's a light on Steve, and he breaks out into the gutiar lead for "Money For Nothin'/Beverly Hillbillies". Man, that was intense!

My second favorite is also during the medley, when Al appears in the "Eat-It" jacket. Man, the cheering was nuts! :)
