I'm excited too, though I wish I was feeling much better than I am.

Went to the Tom Petty concert in Chicago last night, and left before the Encore because I couldn't sit there anymore.. my stomach has been bothering me all week long.

I'll be seeing you guys tonight. I'm gonna see if the boss won't let me leave early due to illness.. and then maybe get to Indy at a reasonable time. I hate driving when I'm sick, but I'm not gonna miss the concert for anything. I hate doing anything when I'm sick, but eh. I really don't want to be at work right now, but we're short handed, although it doesn't seem to be terribly busy.

we'll see.

Kaffy-
Hope you get feeling better and have a safe trip to Indy.
I work in downtown Indy so I am monitoring the weather. Gosh, I hope we can get the concert in. It is supposed to let up a little this evening but there is still a chance of rain.
See everyone down there..I am in third row of reserved seating on the left. I am the mid thirty something Korean guy just in case you were curious.
Love to meet some of the folks on here!

Al tries not to cancel shows unless he dies or there's a tornado in the area or something like that.

It looks like that will pass before the concert!

Al's performed in some pretty bad weather before. If it's not a safety hazard, he'll go on.
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.

Writing this from my Days Inn hotel room.

I have been to the Indianapolis Zoo and have checked out the Lawn. Well, I have to say, I'm disappointed in the area. It is kind of hard to get to the show...there are 800 spots in the underground parking area beside of the lawn...that includes the VIP parking spots LiveNation sold. The entrance is beside of the Visitor's Center...and I highly doubt there will be a Meet-N'-Greet tonight...the crew bus was parked right where you go in. The band bus hadn't arrived yet, but usually is parked right beside the crew bus.

If I had time, I would have asked Jim for a pass for tonite...but I'm just glad I'll get to see Al again...

It rained a lot earlier in the day, so hopefully it all got rained out for the concert tonite....it is still very overcast...and looks as if it could rain anytime, though...

Hope to see all of you at the show...I will be in the third row, right reserved, seat 11. Come find me...
