It's in the Spaghetti Bowl - the freeway interchange where 95 and I-15 cross each other in the center of the valley. I was on the ramp from northbound I-15 to northbound 95.
HOWEVER, this was an electronic billboard. There are quite of few of them here these days. So you won't necessarily see the Al advert when you go by because they change. If I had gone through 30 seconds earlier or later, I may have seen entirely different ads. I don't know exactly where you would park on surface streets to get a pic. As a guess, I would say you'd have to be on Martin Luther King Blvd., on the north side of the US 95 bridge. I'll take note on my way home tonight.
Seating - we will be in section B center, row GG seats 32-35. The side sections may have gotten us a little closer to the stage but it seems that when we are in a side section we are always positioned in such a way that it's nearly impossible to see Bermuda!

LOL, yeah I know. But half the time he's even obscured by stuff other than the drum kit. I've been to shows where we were so close and so off to the side that we couldn't hardly see the drum kit, much less Bermuda!
About that billboard - I don't think you'll be able to see it very well from MLK as I had thought. It is too far along the flyover. The onramp from MLK to northbound US 95 is still closed, so you might be able to see it from a distance by looking up that onramp, or from nearby Bonanza Rd., but the only way you can see it closely is by actually going on the flyover from northbound I-15 to northbound US 95. And of course you'll be going at freeway speeds. I saw 3 ads during the time I had it in view, but none of them were for Al. I don't know how many ads it cycles through.
Here is the best view with Google. This is from Bonanza Rd. looking south across a property where they rent construction equipment.

So, okay, this should probably go in the "27" topic, but I'm flying to Las Vegas on the 27th, both my "there" flight and my "back" flight have numbers that end in 27, and the tax on my plane ticket was $27.50.
It all seems auspicious to me.

Today I have been running an inadvertent experiment in just how much (or how little) of Al onstage is necessary to turn around a rotten mood.
I missed my flight in Los Angeles this afternoon. By five minutes. No other flights on any airline that would get me here. I said to myself, "Self," I said, "Darnitall, you've got a ticket for that concert and a full tank of gas!"
So I started off on my three-day journey... oops, wrong song. It just SEEMS like a three-day journey when you start off from LAX at 3:30 on a Friday afternoon to go to Las Vegas in a 17-year-old Toyota (A Toyota's a Toyota... oops, wrong song again) with iffy air conditioning.
It took me three hours to get to Devore, where there was a gas station that also sold pizza. "Devore" sounds like "Devour," sort of, so I got a pizza (but left the other 18 pizzas there, believing that there are some Al lyrics that don't need to be reenacted) and drove on.
There were times (lots of them) when we were just creeping along and some other times when we just moved right along (I didn't know my car would still GO that fast!
). Bottom line, I finally found the Pavilion in time to hear Al singing "Smells Like Nirvana." So that remainder of concert is the amount necessary to turn around the bad mood, just so you know.
Henderson seemed to love Al.
