Somebody else who blogged this gig.
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.

It's nice to know that these folks think BNL are a fun band, with or without Al, but that comment just sounded odd. Nice picture of them with Al.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

We were about 15 feet away from the stage and it was really fun. ...and that was before Weird Al Yankovic jumped out of the crowd to join them on stage!

A took this to mean it was even more fun when Al came out.
This means something. This is important.

Well, that makes sense, but on the first read, it just hit me funny.

I don't think anyone has mentioned this yet, but excuse me if they have... BNL has a new CD out for kids called Snacktime. I have a 4 year old and I'm so happy to find music for her that I can enjoy too. I know Al is friends with BNL, but I bet he was taking Nina to see them. How cool is that? I often wish Al would make a kids' CD. His music is family friendly, but not really little kid friendly. I'm not ready to explain "Confession Part III" to my daughter...
That's when I met the girl of my dreams. Her name was Zelda...
