I'm taking 2 12 year olds with me, so that should fun. One is a total newbie with lots of Al on her I-Pod. It's totally my fault:)

You may not want to go thanking me just yet. I thought the Doubletree and Holiday Inn were fairly low priced, about $70-$80 but it's more like $110 for just 1 adult! Don't know how much the discount is but it's going to have to be at least 10 bucks before I get reservations, although if the venue is recommending them, maybe Al and the band will be staying at one or the other so it might be worth it on the off chance I might run into them!

I'm sure the 12-year-olds are going to love the concert! I'm always impressed by the diversity at Al's shows. Very few muscians can claim they have such a wide-ranged fan base. I'm going to get my nephew "The Ultimate Video Collection" for his birthday; I'm hoping to convert him so I can take him and my mom--another target for conversion--to a show one day!

So I'm considering buying a VIP ticket but I need to know if it's worth it or not. Does all that include a backstage pass? I'd assume it does...considering how much it is. :/

no, it doesn't include backstage.
In fact, you can't buy those at all, in most instances

has anyone gotten their VIP stuff yet? my friend spent the extra money for that stuff for us and hasn't gotten it yet. he got the tickets, though. does the extra stuff come later? or should he be sending someone an angry email?

I thought when I ordered that the email said you should have the tickets a week or so before the show. If not then that's when you call them to
