I don't know if anybody caught the Tonight Show last night, but Huey Lewis made a brief appearance as part of a gag with the latest, ah, bootee from American Idol, and in the course of said gag, he sang a couple of parodied lines for "I want A New Duck," I mean "Drug."
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.

Ok so I really wanted to post this before the concert, but didn't get to it in time.
The Presidents of the United States made an appearance in Knoxville tonight as part of Sundown in the City. They performed old favorites such as Kitty, Peaches, Dune Buggy, and of course, Lump...and then stuff from their new album (which I was privilaged to buy for only $10...and it was autographed!). Stuff from their new album did include Mixed Up S.O.B. before which they mentioned Weird Al produced the video to it!! YAY!!!!
It was a freaken awesome concert...and I wondered if Al had picked up anything from them...or if they picked it up from Al...as far as the motions and silly stage gestures.

He's a doctor because he has the cure for what ails you... namely, liberal applications of SHAVING CREAM!GuyWhoIsAnonymous @ May 23 2008, 11:41 PM wrote: Where is Dr. D's PhD? What makes him a doctor?
He does have an MA in musicology from Reed College, so if you insist, you can refer to him as Master Demento.
