A new one for his birthday this year? Perhaps, but it would mostly be a repeat of the sentiments of last year's book. If my calculations are correct, Al will be 50 next year, so maybe we should do something for that instead?
The tsunami of immediacy will wash away the flood of grief, and reveal a layer of naive optimism underneath

We could hand delivery 50 twinky weiner sandwiches! (tofu ones of course, with soy milk. Wouldn't wanna mess up the vegan thing).

On second thought...maybe something else.

I always thought it'd be awesome if there was an Al-Con for Al's 50th, like a massive birthday party for him.

It's totally possible, with having over a year and a half to set it up.
Sever your leg, please. It's the greatest day.

*Psst, Al eats dairy now. Suzanne has convinced him to do so, so bring on the Easy Cheese with those veggie TWS's!

I like the idea of waiting until next year, and doing something special for Al's 50th birthday.

ATY, Al was born in 1959, so he'll be 49 this year.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!
