Well, I did stand for Al, for longer than the running time of the concert. I'm just saying I'd rather sit down. Hell, if I feel like standing up during a concert where there are seats, I just might. Don't go judging people based on whether or not they'll stand up.

I'd have to say I prefer the standing shows....I don't know, there's something so boxed-in feeling about being around seats, I think concerts just 'feel' better when you're standing in this crowd of people...the energy of the people you're around is nearly tangible, everyone's jumping around and having a good time...plus it's easier to push your way up front!

I haven't ever been to a standing show before, so I can't compare the two. But I'm pretty sure I'd enjoy the sitting shows more. I don't like standing for too long at once.

Standing sucks. The Baltimore concert was one of the worst experiences of my life. It was a great show, but the standing killed me. My back hurt for days afterwards. And people dont understand the personal space thing either. Im never doing a SRO show again. Ever. Even if it means missing a show.

I didn't mind standing too much, mostly because Al keeps me distracted enough that I don't realize I'm standing. My knees tend to lock up if I stand for too long.

The thing that annoys me about standing the most is height. I'm usually stuck behind much taller people and I can't see as well as I would like.

I hear ya about being stuck behind tall people, CB. I'm 5'2", so most people are taller than me. I was standing next to Greg, so a few times, I handed him my camera to take pics. I'd much rather sit down. The really bad thing is, we did have seats, but if you sat down, you couldn't see, because at least 4 rows of people were standing in front of the first row of chairs. I don't wanna do that again.

I'm one of those tall people - sorry about that, but I can't help my height! Just remember we're also the people who help you reach items on the top shelf at the grocery store, ha.

I don't mind standing at concerts, but what I do hate is all the waiting around beforehand to get a good spot. We have GA tickets for a Springsteen show in a few months and I'm dreading that part.

I wouldn't like a standing concert, because if I lock my knees for a long time, I faint.

my only Al concert was standing - I got there 2.5 hours before the start time and it was sooooo worth it since I was 2nd from the barrier :yay: yeah, my feet killed after awhile but once the show started I was oblivious to my physical presence in the universe... :D After the show I was flyin' so high I still wasn't aware of things like, oh, pain... I must have looked happily stunned wandering gleefully through the fairgrounds
I'm not comfortable in my comfort zone - it's poorly named.

IS it just me or is there no more tickets for the NH one?
