Poor Steve, must have been exhausted. He didn't say anything at all?

When I went to a concert one time, I was in the front row, and during Albuquerque, there was a girl about my age behind me who had down-syndrome. I could tell she was having the time of her life and she kept waving to Steve for like, 2 minutes it seemed. And I could tell Steve wanted to wave back but because he was playing the bass, he just smiled at her. I thought it was so sweet that he smiled at her because most rockstars would have probably just ignored her. Steve has such a great smile, too! :D

Yup, basically- most "mainstream" artists don't really interact with the crowd much on a personal, one-on-one level- especially their band members.

And, you're right- he does have a great smile!!

Another favorite concert moment was when I was filming Yoda on my digital camera and I handed the camera to my dad so that I could do the Yoda chant, and so my dad is holding the camera and all of a sudden Al comes up and sticks his accordion right up to it!!! It was so cool! You can watch that whole moment right here...

Thanks for putting that up; it's a better view of Al than I got when I was actually at the Sherman that night!

Standing with Elvis & Dr Steggy behind some tall people. Oh... over toward Jim's side of the stage.
