How would replacing a band member allow for an extended tour? What about Al, the rest of the band, and the whole crew?
I don't follow your logic.

You know, cloning HAS come a long way since October 2007. Heck, Al could do fifty shows in fifty states in ONE night that way.Elvis @ Feb 10 2008, 12:52 PM wrote: No, no, no. That will never happen. Because the total time to tour is limited, in order to meet fan expectations and maximize profits, they'll have to do TWO shows every night for the full duration.

Does anyone know if emailing a venue about the possibility of booking Al has ever actually worked?
I'm considering doing it, but I'd like to know if it's worked for anyone before I make a retard of myself.

I think I can explain.Kristine @ Feb 13 2008, 03:24 PM wrote: How would replacing a band member allow for an extended tour? What about Al, the rest of the band, and the whole crew?

On previous tours, when one band member was busy for some reason or another, rather than not tour at all during that time, they were temporarily replaced with another musician. For example, on the RWS tour, Jim missed several shows in a row on at least two occasions due to previous commitments. Danny Brant filled in on a temporary basis for those shows. Theoretically, if Jim was busy again in September, and Al wanted to extend the tour into September, he could ask Danny Brant to fill in again.

An e-mail never hurt anybody. Well, unless it has a virus, but really you should only sent an e-mail like that if they don't book Al.WaffleQueen27 @ Feb 13 2008, 10:51 PM wrote: Does anyone know if emailing a venue about the possibility of booking Al has ever actually worked?I'm considering doing it, but I'd like to know if it's worked for anyone before I make a retard of myself.

Don't worry, you'll be able to go to Westbury Music Fair this time. The chance of it returning is likely if you look at it's past with Al. It was almost sold out last time since they did one show instead of the two in the past. Probably one show this year, though.
