After three years of flamewars, trolls, and the like, I've vowed to never view an MST3K related board again
You have quickly thought up such matchless phrase?

:yay: :ttr:  I requested Jurassic Park on DVD from the library (yes, I'm cheap, lol!) and when it arrives I'm buying and I'm so enjoying this 8)
I'm not comfortable in my comfort zone - it's poorly named.

Which one is which, again?
It seems as if that post in question was made by Bill Corbett, frequent Rifftrax collaborator and best known as the second Crow (not to mention Observer) on MST3K.

So in other words, he was just joking.

Yeah, I figured he was, especially when I saw who posted that.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

I finally got around to watching "Jurassic Park" with RiffTrax. It was pretty good, although I wasn't laughing hysterically throughout. There were some very clever jokes. Some of the running gags (boy or girl, Satler's pants, inappropriate pauses) were pretty funny, even if they went on a bit too long.

I liked the "White and Nedry" reference. But I'm surrpised they didn't get in a "Hello, Newman" joke in there.

But yeah, it was good! I'll definitely buy more of these if they get Al involved some more. Should we start a letter writing campaign for "Forrest Gump" or what?

They kind of had a Newman joke.
"If only there was some was of greeting this person."
"Nope.. nothing comes to mind."

Well, I didn't really take that as a Newman joke as much as just a joke on the fact that Dodgson didn't reply to Nedry's greeting. But it might have been both.

I will say that I did NOT appreciate Al's swipe at John Williams. :stern: Williams is the most brilliant film composer of our time. :stern:

It's a really good review, but you managed to misspell "Jurassic" and "Yankovic" IN THE SAME SENTENCE.

Go fix that and I will be extremely pleased with the whole effort.
