Well just cause he has an accordion in the promo card, doesn't neccesarily mean he will have one in the episode. They could have just been having fun with the promo. Or he may not have released the song on an album, but plays Homer a little demo on the accordion for approval.

Hmm, maybe. We'll just have to wait! Is anyone gonna put it up on YouTube?

More for his parodies, I'd say, although he is a noted accordion player, obviously. I dunno. It's possible it's just one of many drawings they made.

Why not? Just because Smells Like Nirvana didn't have an accordion doesn't mean the song Al plays while parodying a fictional grunge band can't. Drew Carey said it best when he said Al's job is rocking the world with an accordion.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

lol any song homer does is gonna sound like a parody anyway, so hows Al gonna work with that?

Hey, weird thought, I wonder if Al actually wrote the song(s) that homer's bands gonna sing in real life? :whoot:

Well you can parody a parody. Just as long as it stays funny it'll work. As for Al writing Homer's songs, probably not. The Simpsons has a talented pool of writers and probably had the episode done long before Al was even brought in. Remember he didnt even write hos own song last time he was on.
