A lot of people hear a parody and assume that it's by Al. That don't know that there are other comedy musicians in the worldmickeynotmouse @ Jan 16 2008, 12:31 PM wrote: I wonder why people can be so certain these songs are by Al?

That's so irritating! Not only for Al, but for the rest of the correct-grammar practicing world as well. It would be irritating for the Amish too, but...well, they'd have no way of knowing, would they.Bargle Nawdle Zouss @ Jan 17 2008, 07:27 AM wrote: There was an Amish Paradise vid on Youtube that was titled "Omish Paradise"![]()

I have a concert ad from 1996 that also misspelled it as "Omish Paradise." This is the same one that also billed Al as "Weird All." I'll have this and a number of other ads from various tours posted onto All Things Yankovic in the near future.
A misspelling on YouTube I can understand, but one would think someone being paid to promote a concert would take the time to make sure that the artist's name and their big hit at the time were spelled correctly...you know, as part of their job, right?
