Holy cow! I was at this concert to. That was the night I truly became a fan since I was mostly along for the ride with DH. We used to live in Indianapolis and hubby just had to go to this concert. I was like "whatever - Weird Al?!?!" Yeah - I will admit that I wasn't too horribly interested at the time! We somehow got seats in the 4th row and hubby was thrilled when he got splashed with some water during SLN!
After the concert I saw they were playing in Evansville, IN on April 3rd and it was I that was begging hubby to go to that concert! My how things change in a few hours! So we went to Evansville and that was the night we met Jim. The rest is history! At the time I didn't know this forum exsisted nor was I even familiar with the music that Al did.
Now when I hear the songs that he's parodied on the radio, I don't know the real lyrics, just the Al lyrics!
