The phonetic version sounds more right to me. Something with the rhythm of it... idk.
Maybe I should find it somewhere and burn it to a CD, and listen to it over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and *gets up and walks away*...*comes back next morning* and over and over...
Okay, that was just redundant.

English doesn't just borrow from other languages, it mugs them on the street and checks their pockets for loose grammar.

Well, I found this on a discussion forum devoted to the Enchanted Tiki Room at Disneyland.Iellwen @ Sep 21 2007, 05:24 AM wrote: I wonder what the Hawaiian words mean.
I'm pretty sure it's not very accurate, though.

I'm not sure about this one. I know that there is no "t" in the Hawaiian language but it is used in certain modern Hawaiian songs.
I know the following (correct me if I'm wrong here):
"Auwe" means "Oh" or "Ouch".
"Pili" means to "cling" or "hold on to something".
"Wai" is "water" or "liquid".
"Lua" is a "hole" or "a bathroom".
So the song is:
Oh, "Oh, I will hold my water, as there is no bathroom". I always wondered.....
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.
