I personally would love another Al fan big group thing, it's been way too long. {Don't say "Al-Con "*shhhh* unless you're referring to Amanda Cohen's shindigs, she actually owns that name.] Since it doesn't look too promising that Al's going to be touring next year, maybe next fall would be a good time for a gathering. Yeah, I know, this is getting off-topic for the Greek Theater concert. But hey, if it were in SoCal, we could do a bus ride and swing by the Greek ;) .

Yeah, just a meeting of some sort, doesn't have to be a 'Con or anything, but if we could gather a bunch of WOWAYers together, that would be fun by itself. And the Greek would be a nice place to stop, since Al's played there multiple times. :)

This morning I came home from LA. I was only able to see the show from about Yoda. When I arrived at the airport in Zurich a was told that my flight was delayed for about 1.5 hours. Normal time of arrival would have been at 5.2 pm. With this time I could have made it to the creek in time. But with the delay I arrived just after 7.30 pm. So I just picked up a taxi. And of course at that time there was no traffic just at the airport ;( . It was quite ok on the freeway, by using the car pool lane.

Headed for the hotel, just put my suitcases in the room and left for the Theatre. Although I missed almost the whole show, I enjoyed it. It was nice all the people from the OC Fair again. We waited outside after the show. I could meet Yoda, ;). And also a little chat with Steve's wife Barbara.

I guess it was around 1.30 am when we headed for dinner at Denny's. :)

So this year I saw 5 and 1/4 Al Show's, and right in October 4 Eagles one. Busy year... :) . I had so much fun in July and October.

Hope to see again sometime.........

We hope to see you too again, Jeannine. :)
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.

It was great getting to hang out with you, Jeannine! Couldn't have had better company for getting lost looking for a Denny's in a strange city! :P

Hope to see you in our neck of the woods again :)
Very tasty!
