Man, that was a fun show. Quite possibly my favorite Al show yet, and I've been seeing him since 1984. It didn't hurt that I had the best seat I've ever had at an Al concert.
There was a great moment when a guy in the front row walked in late (during "It's All About The Pentiums"), and Al reached over and knocked the baseball cap off his head.

THAT.
WAS.
AWESOME!!!
My first concert (to Al or anybody else) was definitely worth it. (Is anything involving Al ever not worth it?
)
I bought a SOL shirt with tour dates on the back as a souvenir. Also, I'm going to make a playlist of the songs he played, in order, on my iTunes to help me remember tonight. (My memory might be sketchy in some places - where can I get a setlist?)
I also love how everyone went wild during the "Black Dog" part of TITDT.
You got any HALLE Berry doughnuts? Haha. Classic.

I am shocked, offended, and a little turned on.

I'm back! It was fun meeting all of you! I'll post a review sometime tomorrow because I'm really tired. I met Al and I hugged him!
My dad loved it and he laughed really hard during a lot of parts. I got over 300 pictures!!!

Just got back. It was a great show. During SLN, after Al threw the water at the crowd, a woman in the front row got up, and threw a bunch of water back at Al, then sat down. A few seconds later she did it again, so security had to go and talk to her. I thought she was going to get kicked out, but they let her stay. I'll post more about the show tomorrow.
And Peggy

Congratulations, Meli, on not only meeting Al but getting that hug! I hope I'll join the "Al Hug Club" soon, maybe if there's a second leg of the SOL tour. I'm glad your dad had a great time too!

I'm sure she wasn't trying to be rude. If she had water ready to throw, she knows he throws water during SLN...she was probably a fan who thought Al would find it funny to get splashed back...and he probably did, unless it was really a LOT of water, which would be uncool around all that expensive equipment. Anyone who was there want to comment on Al's reaction?fred27 @ Oct 21 2007, 09:07 AM wrote: well that was RUDE!!!
Praise AL!
