), but the best news is Al did a public meet and greet at the bus, so finally got the Al hug I've been craving since the last time I got one (2004)

And HUGE thanks go to goofyjeff and his friends for the ride home -- without them the Al hug would not have been possible.

The show was great of course, but I didn't notice any uniqueness except for the eclectic array of Stormtroopers. Their uniforms weren't "uniform"

My old camera died on Wednesday, I bought a new camera Thursday, but I didn't read the part in the manual that recommended charging the battery before first use, so... my battery died during WBUL. Since it was a new camera I spent the first few songs finding the right setting without flash and I finally figured it out after CBNC, so the Bob and Pitiful pics turned out great.

I'm so glad you got to meet Al, and get a hug. Al fans are really great, aren't they? It was nice of those people to give you a ride. I know what you mean about craving a hug. My last one was also in 2004, and I'm very glad he gave me a squeeze in Jackson.

Sorry about your camera trouble, but I'm sure the pics you took will be great!

Congrats on meeting Al, DKelly! Cool that he signed that. It looks more like a poster than the DVD case. Is it a poster?

another quickie thing...

When I saw Al 5 times at the OC Fair, I never got any Yankobucks. I was gifted 2. Last night they were literally dropping in my lap and I got 6 more.

Another great performance by Al and the band.

This was my first show this tour (and likely the last unless he adds a Madison date) but he didn't disappoint at all.

It was good meeting up with WeirdEl, and you're welcome for the ride. Great meeting Al afterwards too. I had him sign my SOL cd. Got everyone else except for Bermuda

well i took a "friend" to the show, i really wasnt expecting him to go, i fig the last minute he would say, no im still sick, but he called me 2 days b4 and said even though he feels like crap, he still goin, and he enjoyed himself and would even go to another with me, so i think i may have converted him
