Yeah and they trek back and forth to the bathroom through the entire concert, back and forth and back and forth and back and forth ... at one point I wanted to jump up onto my seat and scream ... SIT DOWN AND STAY!!!!!!gtrmu @ Sep 21 2007, 12:51 PM wrote: Yeah, also as mentioned, 2 guys got thrown out. That's what happen when you serve alcohol anywhere, people abuse it and become jerkasses.![]()

They probably went for more beer. This is why I say alcohol should be banned: people don't know when to stop. They keep drinking and drinking to the point where they're piss drunk and don't know what's going on. Then stuff like that happens. Same thing with cigarettes. They do no good and should be banned.
I was elected to lead, not to read.

Cigarettes HAVE been banned practically everywhere in NYC, including ALL indoor concert venues. I didn't see anyone smoking at the Weird Al concert, but I've been to other concerts (Irving Plaza....oops I mean THE NEW AND IMPROVED FILLMORE.... is notoriously bad for this) where people get thrown out left and right for lighting up, without a warning. To which I say GREAT!!!
Thinking back, I don't think that before last night I've been to a Weird Al show where alcohol was served since 1996, when I saw them at a club that depends on their bar for profit. It definitely does have an effect on the audience.

What people do in their own homes is their business, which is why I don't think they should be banned from sale outright, but I'd love to see the smoking ban extended to public streets in NYC. It is an actual fact that the most littered item in the world are cigarette butts!
I remember reading something recently about the ban being extended to smoking in your car if there is anybody younger than 13 in it.

The show out in West Fargo earlier this year in June was serving alcohol, and that croud was roudy. It was kinda funny watching all the drunk people rock out to Al, but they were extremely loud, and often times I couldnt even hear the music. There was only 1 fight that I know of, during Amish Paradise, and I believe it was because someone took someone elses Al bill or something, and security had to escort them out.richegreen @ Sep 22 2007, 06:39 AM wrote: I don't think that before last night I've been to a Weird Al show where alcohol was served since 1996, when I saw them at a club that depends on their bar for profit.
