Yeah, I paid $42.00 for mine, and that's a lot of money for me, too. That's just one ticket. But, I think Al is worth it. And, like I said, it's more than 1 1/2 hours. It's a 2 1/2 hour, action packed, hilarious show, and it's worth every penny!
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:
"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11
So awesome!

And considering tickets to a lot of concerts are at least 2 or 3 times more expensive, I'd say Al's show are a real bargain, although I definitely understand what you mean by $42 dollars being a lot of money. The tickets for the two concerts I saw on this tour cost about that, then add in gas, which isn't cheap, plus the price to get into Carowinds, and it made things a little tight for me financially for about a week or two but, as you said, Patti, Al is worth it!algonacchick @ Sep 9 2007, 11:12 AM wrote: Yeah, I paid $42.00 for mine, and that's a lot of money for me, too. Al is definitely worth it! My tickets for the Greek were $50, but I have 2nd row seats, 2 and 1/2 hours of Al joy, and its close to my house. Though I had to pay for my dad's ticket too, if you love Al, you try and do the best you can.

Fantastic show! I didn't notice the Poodle Hat concert being shorter than usual. It was so awesome being on the front row. Al sang to my wife twice during Wanna B Ur Lovr. We also got some water thrown on us on Smells Like Nirvana. I met Jake Waters there. I'm kind of glad I didn't miss anything by leaving right after the show.
These are the two lines sung to my wife (the first from up on stage, the second right in front of her):
I like your skeletal structure, baby. You're an ectomorph, no doubt
and
You can tell me truthfully, Am I a steamin' hunk of love now, or what?
I didn't stop Al from hitting on my wife. Should I be ashamed of that?

The show was definitely shorter at the Utah State Fair during the PH tour than during the SOL tour. There were maybe 3-4 songs that they didn't do. I know for sure they didn't do "Dog Eat Dog," because I loved it when he performed it at the Vegas show towards the beginning of the tour and was looking forward to seeing/hearing that one again. I was disappointed when that didn't happen. I can't remember if they did "Melanie" or not. I'm pretty sure they also skipped "Horoscope" and maybe a couple of the costume ones like "Trash Day" and/or "Amish Paradise." As the show was ending, I just remember thinking, "thats it?!?!?"
Maybe it was because Fair shows are typically shorter and it was just unusual to have the full set this time around, or maybe it was the long drive they had ahead of them last time, or perhaps because they didn't have the video screen up and thus ran out of ways to entertain us between songs last time - I don't know what the reason is between the difference in the length of the shows, but we did get to see more this time.
And no, you shouldn't be ashamed of not trying to stop Al from hitting on your wife. In fact, you were probably smart not to interfere.

Naw. Although.... you do know that she'll have to declare all those compliments Al paid her on her taxes, don't you?Muldernscully @ Sep 10 2007, 03:48 PM wrote: I didn't stop Al from hitting on my wife. Should I be ashamed of that?
When Al told me I had Yugoslavian hands, it bumped me into a higher bracket.

"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.
