Who here will be there?
I imagine I'll drive up there from seeing the show in SLC the night before.

I will be there with 5 of my Al fan friends. We're coming up from Utah and Arizona. Our seats aren't that great (4 of us near the back of the center section, and 2 near the front but way off to the side), but hey, I get to see Al, so I ain't complaining too much.

Maybe they'll do something special for the 1000th.

:w Linda! GREAT to see you! It was so neat to meet you back in 2001 when I was in SLC. I wish I could be at the 1000th show. Alas, I wll be here in Milwaukee [Psych oral board exam on the 10th, yecch]. I hope everyone has a wonderful time. If anyone I know is in your traveling gang of Al fans, please give them my best. I'll keep my fingers crossed that there's a meet and greet for y'all.

That's really cool, Kristine! Nice job!

I just can't bring myself to replace my current wallpaper right now... :inlove:
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

Hi Diva! Great to hear from you again! I've been away from the Weird Al forums WAY too long, and it's great to know that people still remember me. That's why I love you all! :D

Yeah, I'm excited to be going to the Idaho Falls show. I didn't find out it was Al's 1000th until recently, so hopefully we'll get a special treat. I'm part of a party of 6, although I doubt you know any of the people going with me. Most of them are more casual Al fans who don't have a huge online presence, but at least they're dedicated enough to travel to see the shows! I hope there will be a meet and greet as well - I mean, how often does the band get to play eastern Idaho? Plus, I haven't had the pleasure of meeting Al & the band since the RWS tour.

I'm sorry that you aren't able to go. Idaho Falls just isn't a very easy place to get to, unless you're coming from the SLC or Boise areas. But, if the guys do something special during this show, I'll be sure to post it on Sunday, if someone else doesn't beat me to it first. I guess it's sold out, yet very few people on WOWAY have posted that they're going. I just hope there are enough hard core fans going so that the audience isn't especially lame, as it can sometimes be. Al deserves an appreciative audience to mark this special occasion. I will be sure to show my appreciation, of course, but I'm way in the back, so Al won't even notice me. :(
