It'd be cool if Al could do an annual year-in-review "Headline News" song. Doesn't even have to be a recording, but just the lyrics posted on the website. But I agree that it wouldn't belong on any future album.
I'm ranking every Beatles song on my new pop culture blog. Check it out!

Well yeah but doesn't mean he couldn't record it and put it on his myspace.

"Good enough for now" off Polka Party is probably my favorite country song of all time. Shoots anything Alan Jackson ever wrote right out of the saddle. :D

It was one of the songs on the list for the later hours of my wedding reception, and the only reason we didn't ultimately choose it was because......it was a country song.

That's funny. My brother claims he's a Weird Al fan, but anytime I play Achy Breaky Song or Good Enough For Now, he screams and runs out of the room...

Perhaps he has an inate fear of country music?
I mean, it's possible, right?

Definitely, definitely possible. I run screaming from mimes and real estate agents.

I think The Truck Drivin' song is a stellar example of good country music!
Hoping the Al goodness never ends...
