The more Al on the Simpsons the better, so this definitely deserves a woot! Woot! Since it'd be lame if he came back and had a very short part the same exact time as the last episode, I'm thinking he'll have a bigger role.
The writers probably enjoyed Al so much when he came into the studio that they went and wrote an episode with Al specifically playing a larger role. Hopefully.

I hope that's the case too, but I'm getting my hopes up. Stephen Hawking's been in the show three times now, and his part seems to get smaller and smaller each time.
But Stephen Hawking is a theoretical physicist, and Al actually is (among many other things) a talented and versatile voice actor. There are many more possible things they can do with Al. Here's hoping for a bigger role!
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.
Maybe they could do an episode about Bart being depressed on his birthday, and Lisa and Al sing him a song they specifically wrote for his birthday. Maybe a parody of that song "Happy Birthday Lisa."

I just heard from a friend who was a cheap bastard and downloaded the torrent of The Simpsons: Testify that The Ballad Of Homer And Marge has the lyrics that were in the episode, not the original King Of The Hill ones.
