08/15/07 - Glenside, PA Keswick Theatre

Sorry no idea what happened there..

DIA:

1. "And he leaned right down next to Minnick...and he took his picture..."

2. Near the end, when he lost his train of thought, he stopped and said, "Y'know what? Guys, I'm sorry, we''re gonna have to start over." They actually started over until "she leaned right down next to me..." which is when he "remembered" rest.

Right before "Cell Phones: Live!" he came out and said, "OK, you wanna hear one more little song? Y--? Do ya? Nah, you don't want to..." We protest, and he starts "Cell Phones".

After the show, we go out back to the buses. I chat up a storm with Elvis, Dad chats up a storm with AD, until we get to Al. My coversation went something like this...

Me: Um...hi!
Al: Hi!
Me: So can you...(holds up THE COMPLEAT AL"
Al: Oh, wow! Sure! (signs) You HAVE one of these??
Me Yep!
AL Wow, very nice!
Me: Thanks! (gives him envelope)

INTERRUPTION: Oh, yeah, I also brought an envelope that contained a thjanks note and a revised version of my Superpowers story.

BACK TO AL:
Al: (starts to sign envelope)
Me: Oh, no, that's..
Al: Oh, for me?
MeL (nods)
Al: Oh well, thank you!

Next it was Dad's turn. This is what I cohuld see/hear of his meeting...

DadL Hi!
Al: Hi!
Dad: Great show!
Al: Thanks.
( Dad holds up TWAS)
(Al signs with the exact same kind of Sharpie that Dad has, and Dad tries to take it back)
Al: Um, sir? I think that one's mine!
(Dad looks down to see his Sharpie still in his breast pocket)
DadL Oh gosh i'm sorry!
Al: No problem!
(Dad leaves)

After that I met my first bandmate: Bermuda! I quick got a picture with him (he had to leave, like, right then).

We left, and I couldn't stop talkoing about it till about 1:00 which is when we got home.

WAYFan, you forgot the best part of when you met Bermuda. You noticed him there and said "Oh" then after a pause "Wow."

One more thing I forget...didn't ANY of you mention the new HN verse?

First I thought it was Lindsey, then Tammy Faye, then Dad told me it was Paris. Kinda odd seeing as Al made a plea to newspeople everywhere to tell us more about her...

I finally got all my Glenside pix (all 400) up!

We had front row, and this played hell with my usual camera settings...so I changed them after CBNC with excellent results. That is why there is very little through that song, and a freaking ton afterwards. I messed about with my zoom a bit since we were so close up too, so I'll apologize for anything excessively bizarre.

Would someone tell me why we

Or maybe it was "about her." But your mileage may vary, and since it's a freshly-written verse, Al may be making changes.
