Nancy, that is an awesome picture!! Just look at that face! I would have died laughing.

Mike, nice pic of Boba Fett and the stormtrooper! I also like your pic of Al and the stormtroopers during TSB.

Oh, please let there be a Michigan chapter of this Star Wars group!

Yeah, but no plans for anything on September 23rd. Drat!

Ah, well. These Star Wars folks have shown up at more concerts this tour than last. Wasn't it just one show last tour?

So I hate to sound like a total idiot here, but did you all have special access to the buses like a backstage pass or something? Or did you know someone at the venue? Or were you just at the right place at the right time?

Sorry If I sound ignorant, I'm just trying to get the lay of the land.

No--the bus thing is the unofficial meet n greet, no passes needed! You just need to be in the right place at the right time.

That gives me some hope that he might do one next week!

That'd make my summer since I've never met him, and everyone says what a great experience it is.

I must have missed the memo that explains where all these Stormtroopers, etc. are coming from. Can someone please explain, or post a link that explains it? Thanks.

I'm not sure how well a link to the 501st Legion will explain, but they're a national organization of people who dress up as the villains from Star Wars. They do charity events, and apparently, have garrisons all over the U.S. I guess they also enjoy appearing on stage with Al. hehe, I contacted a rep from the Midwest Garrison about the Jackson show. I don't know if I'll hear back, or even if they'd be able to do it, but I told the guy it'd be cool to see some people from the group onstage with Al in Michigan.

Here's the site.
