I just wanted to let everyone know that we will have a table in the theater's lobby for the Rock Hall petition, so if you're going and haven't signed it yet, be sure to stop by before the show.

Also, if anyone's willing to go the extra step to help with the campaign, Alexis will be manning the table by herself, so if anyone is willing to step up and help her out at the table, even if just by being an extra set of hands or to help her keep an eye on everything, please let me know as soon as possible. I wouldn't want her to get mobbed without someone there to watch her back, and vice versa.

I may be able to help her out. Depends on when I can get into the area. I think I'll PM her to find out...

Well, it looks like Kaffy and myself will be at a table collecting signatures for the "Make The Rock Hall Weird" Campaign. So like Greg said, If you haven't signed the petition yet and want to, stop by the table!

Only 6 more days! I can't wait!

This'll sound kinda odd, considering how close to the day of the concert and all, but does anyone happen to have two extra tickets for this show? No specific seats in mind, though main floor would be nice, but, seeing as how most of my family will be seeing the show anyway, my parents decided that, if possible, try to get two more tickets, for my younger sisters. Thanks!

I have a friend who is coming who was trying to get rid of one ticket...I don't know if that will help you or not. Come to think of it, I'm not entirely sure if she already got rid of the ticket. I can check and find out for you if your interested, but it would only be one ticket.

If not, I don't think the show is sold out yet...you still might be able to get a couple of tickets from the box office

That was great, except for a few things:

1) My mom made me sit with the friends I brought, not with another friend who offered me second-row seats. <_<

2) Can't stay for the meet-and-greet because school starts tomorrow.

3) Might be the last concert I see

4) The sound quality wasn't very good in the beginning.

Al was so tired though. He needs a long break.
Dave? Hello Dave? Is Dave there? There's a block in your t'ilet.

He's not getting one though, unless you count a nice relaxing bus ride to South Dakota.

That's a grueling tour schedule he's got there.
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.

I just got back from the show... I know i got 11 pages + of signatures for the Rock Hall, I'm dead tired = lack of sleep from last couple of nights.. lots of driving. lol

I won't do a full report tonight, as I have to get up early and head into work tomorrow moring in about 6 hrs. Yay.

However, I will say this.. Intentionally soaked with Nirvana water.

major googly eye contact with Jim.. :inlove:

and I hate driving in torrential downpours when I have no idea where I'm going and its dark and late outside.

LOL

Anyhow, it was a great show, and yes, Al is tired you can tell... his voice was kind of cracking during I'll Sue Ya.. and after the show, I was helping some Mini-Al fans collect all the Yankobucks they could possible scrape up. The duds in the 2nd row orch pit that were down from me, never picked up a single one, so there were OODLES there. Of course, not nearly as many as Fred had

Anyhow, I'll post a bit more tomorrow :)

niters

Oh yes, one last thing.. I had Al sign my Cell phone.. *giggles*
