Finally One Night later, I write my review:
The night started off with grabbing a sandwich and heading over at 6:00 to start passing the petition. We saw Rebekah over by the contest booth and talked to her briefly. After hanging around the radio booth to find out about the contest (Which we decided not to enter) we headed over to the door to the venue. We grabbed a few more signatures from the people standing outside.
At about 7:05 they opened the doors and I bought a "Weird Al Is My Homeboy T-shirt", before heading into the concert area to gather signatures. About 20 minutes before the show started, I ran into Alinite27 (Who signed the petition, despite having already signed his own) and chatted with him for a good 10 minutes. Me and my friend Sam continued collecting signatures up until FunZone started before we sat down.
The performances seemed to be the same as HOB, only this time the screen was clear and visible. They also decided to shoot out the "I'll Sue Ya" dollar bills during the song, and I grabbed two. I manged to get some great video footage from which I shall extract some pictures later. The Albuquerque bit was great, with him starting the song completely over.
After the show people started trickling out and we petitioned as many of them as we could. We started to get nervous as it appeared Weird Al was only meeting with people who had passes, and we had no such thing

. We decided to stay around anyways with the pass people to see if we could catch a glimpse of Al. Luck was on our side and Al came out and sat by a table to sign posters for all the lucky people who had meet n' greet cards. As the line dwindled, he looked as if he was going to get up and leave, and I decided If I had a chance now was it. I told the security guard manging the line that we didn't have passes and we're technically not allowed to meet Al. He said to wait one moment and then walked up to Al and said something , and then told us that we could get in line.
We asked Al to sign the petition and he said he had already signed it at one point or another, but would sign it again. I then noticed a stack of posters he had also been signing and asked if he could sign one of those as well. He got kind of angry (In his overacting funny way) and said, "Well Pick One!" I decided that he already signed the petition, and that I really wanted a poster so he gave me and autographed one of those instead. While he was signing it I told him My g/f Lauren said Hi (She was at the HOB show), and he said to say hi to her too. We also told him we loved his show soo much we saw it twice, and he said he was glad we enjoyed it. This concluded the brief meeting with my hero.
The night wasn't done yet though. We walked outside in search of his tour bus (For I still wanted to meet the band). We found two girls and a 40 year old woman, all waiting for the bus at the gate of the underground parking lot beneath the convention center (They hadn't gotten so lucky with the meet n' greet). A car pulled out of the parking lot and rolled down the window. I recognized the security guard from inside, and they recognized me as well. They had an extra autographed poster and were going to give it to me, but I told them that the two girls there hadn't met him. We decided that they could have the poster instead, since we didn't really need two. A few more cars trickled out w/ security guards, and then the tour buses pulled out (and didn't stop.) So much for that. The 40 year old lady was going to have waited for an hour though, and have to go home with nothing. I remembered we had the extra I'll Sue Ya dollar bill, so we gave her that, so we all had at least something.
Sorry if this sounds like incoherent babbling as I'm operating on very little sleep, and am still very excited I met Al.
