If I Could Make Love to a Bottle.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

You know, most kids wouldn't get it, and it's not explicit at all.

Not that I would play it for a child :D

I've always seen Girls Just Wanna Have Lunch (aside the last verse) as a kid-friendly song. When I listen to it I always picture an Al muppet singing it for Sesame Street or something.

Back when I first got Dare To Be Stupid, I used to play that album for my nephew all the time (he is 9 years younger than me). He used to sing along to Dare To Be Stupid because it was so easy for him to remember...but his mom didn't really like me encouraging him to want to be stupid...not like I really was or anything though!!!

That's funny... I never thought about the possibility of someone feeling the need to ACTUALLY dare trying to be more stupid because of Al's anthem...

Had MY mom listened to DTBS she might have thought the same thing --in her motherly protective mindset.

Actually, the message of DTBS, isn't about being stupid at all. It's about being willing to take risks, even if you look stupid to other people. Being true to yourself and all that. It's actually a pretty good life lesson.

I'm not sure most kids (or parents) would interpret 'talk with your mouth full' and/or 'stick your head in the microwave and get yourself a tan' that way, though. :P
