this is not a speculation as much as a desire - a style parody or an early/mid Blondie song :D Blondie was such fun and their lyrics sometimes off-the-wall silly - I can just imagine Al and the band creating something fantastic. Better than any wannabes could that's for sure 8)
I'm not comfortable in my comfort zone - it's poorly named.

It's a good idea, but I don't think Al would because, err..., that woman from Blondie is a woman, and Al is not.

I know - a bit of a stretch but he's parodied songs sung by women before... it would be a hoot if he did :P

You know, I like that idea. We all know the late 70s/early 80s new wave punkish stuff is one of if not Al's favorite musical periods (Check off the style parodies: Talking Heads, Devo, Elvis Costello, the Police......), so it could work.

The female vocal would be tricky to get around, but it has potential
You have quickly thought up such matchless phrase?

I think Al of all people would have the vocal flexibility to pull it off 8) He never ceases to amaze me.

( he doesn't have to peroxide his hair though! ;-) )

Or Al can always do what he did for Like a Surgeon and A Complicated Song... y'know... change the key of the song to suit his vocal abilities.

I'm thinking there could be a good chance that Al could possibly do a Ramones style parody. Al has mentioned several of their songs in his radio shows and mentioned them on his iTunes. And he was in one of their videos back in the day. Plus, while they are just "punk", they do have a fairly distinctive sound about them.

I'd love to hear him do something Ramones.

Heck, even just a polka of Ramones songs. I love the Ramones, and apparently Joey was a fan of Harvey the Wonder Hamster.

What video of theirs was Al in?
