I wasn't sure where would be the best place to post this, but....
Miles Jay to contribute to death metal/Arabic music multimedia art exhibit.
Sounds pretty funky.

That does sound like a very interesting exhibit.
I was watching the dvd of "Zodiac" last night and TWAS guest stars John Ennis and Charles Fleischer were both in it. John had a cameo as a handwriting expert and Charles played an ex movie theater organist that Jake Gyllenhaal's character talks to about someone he suspects might be the Zodiac killer.

It sounds really cool, but I don't fully trust anything Blabbermouth.net says.CatraDhtem @ Jul 24 2007, 11:26 AM wrote: I wasn't sure where would be the best place to post this, but....

I have an "amusing anecdote" myself... while I was dring my dad's computer off at the repairman yesterday, I saw the following quote printed on a paper and tacked to the wall:
"Once, my computer beat me at chess, but it was no match for me at kickboxing."
All Emo-philiacs know where that quote comes from. I commented on it and how big a fan I am of Emo, and totally shocked the repairman. He said he didn't think anyone under 25 would have evr heard of Emo. I told him I wouldn't have either, if not for Al. He aaid he was a bit of an Al fan but hadn't listened to him recently, and didn't know the connection between Al and Emo. I told him to go out andbuy SOL right away, and rent UHF while he was at it

mind=blown

Tom Snyder passed away on Sunday.
I used to watch Mr. Snyder a lot. In fact, I saw that On Topic guy when he played on the show. I wasn't a fan at the time, and what I remember most was the bare feet and the funky velvet pants. I didn't know until YEARS later, who that Weird kid was.
RIP Mr. Snyder.

This is very relevant to Al because Al of course made his first television appearance on the tomorrow show with Tom Snyder.
Tom Snyder, a former late-night staple and veteran newsman, died Sunday at his home in San Francisco from complications of leukemia. He was 71.
