So, I'd pay good money to just sit and chat with Al for a length of time. Who wouldn't?

Anyway, I'm already off topic.

I want Al for my graduation party in 2009. Yes, I know I have no chance, lol. Any possible way I could raise that to about a 1 in (so high a prefix I don't know it)-illion chance? lol

I dunno... Accordion to the Ask Al Archives, if you're willing to cough up $27,000 Al will show up. I don't know if TBITB are extra.

I dunno if this deserves a topic of it's own. We'll see if there's enough participation. If not, I'll most likely lock it in the morning. (Princess Bride reference)

Well, if the next ALbum is released before your graduation in 2009, then ask for that and you'll have Al for your graduation.

I always wanted Al at my wedding. I think that would be freaking awesome. Though I also don't want to spend $27,000 on my wedding, so I guess he's out of the question, or I'll just resort to playing his music. We'll see.. Although, if I get married in February on our Cruise on the 27th, there isn't a way I could have Al anyhow.. Unless maybe by some weird coincidence he happens to be on the same cruise as us...

Hey.. its a possibility. I ran into an ex neighbor of mine. He happened to be on the same cruise as us in January.. that was weird.

Whichever way I contact him, likely after a concert if possible, I figure the best way to go is to give him a written (or typed) personalized invitation.

I think the "$27,000" response on Ask Al was a joke. I also think that you could ask, and Al would be very kind and generous towards you if you did, but would probably politely decline. I mean, think about it, unless you're a friend of the family or deathly sick, he really wouldn't be able to come,. Otherwise, every one of us would be expecting as much out of him, and he really does have a life away from his fans and career.

A personal appearance would probably cost you a pretty penny... maybe not exactly 27G's... but somewhere in that neighborhood. There usually has to be something in it for him, too, besides the money. So, doubtful... but possible if you're rich.
