I'm planning to go. So far ticket information has not gone up or anything, so pretty much nothing until tickets go on sale. I always check the Tourgraphy for updates.

I called the Memorial Hall box office. They have no information on this show at all.

I need to know something soon because I am flying out there specifically to take my sister and nephews to see Al. It will be a fly in that afternoon, fly out the next morning kind of thing.

The box office lady said she's gotten a lot of calls about it tho -- so keep up the pressure!

It's driving me nuts that there still isn't any info. Seems so odd compared to having my tickets to OC for months ahead of time, while a little more than a month ahead here and we still don't have any information.

I did the same thing today, and got the same reply. I couldn't find any phone numbers to call to talk to whoever is behind the tour. The secretary told me to contact the tour itself, but yet haven't found a way. I don't like the way this is going, and it's going down the pit of disaster. Thousands of fans are expecting a show, and this late in the year without confirmation. It's very unlikely it will happen. Don't let it break your spirits yet. Were still over a month away so any miracle could happen!

Oh, the show will go on. All the time we know before the venue knows. Sometimes the venue doesn't even know until a few weeks before the show.

If that's true. Then how would they reserve that time frame for the show?

It probably has something to do with the big manager or person who is charge of booking acts for that venue or chain of venues. They're booking acts a lot and it probably doesn't get down to the peons (people that actually work the floor of that venue) until about the time tickets go on sale. I'm not quite sure how it works, but it's common that Al fans know before the venue.

The first show I ever went to, the venue didn't know about the show until about a week before tickets went on sale while I had known about it for months ahead of time.
