A picture of Al taping the Grim and Evil episode. L to R, Al, Tom Kenny, Jake Thomas, and some guy who does the voice of Billy, his name escapes me now, sorry!

Richard Horvitz.

Nice pic. I just found out that ep of Grim aired last Friday and I missed it again! Arrrrgh....

Hold on to your Poodle Hats! Alsongs has added PH lyrics!

I wonder if they have new pics.... I wouldn't know, because I only go there for the lyrics...

:P

No new pics... how disappointing. Now I really will have to go there just for the lyrics.

WAY surfing down under...

They certainly seem excited that he's coming, but I wonder why they are using such an OLD publicity photo and the RWS bio?

This must be from the official press kit, because I have seen it in several places...

QUOTE AT LAST... THE ROCK COMEDY CONCERT YOU'VE BEEN WAITING FOR... WEIRD AL YANKOVIC

Weird Al \"is unique, clever and challenging, a truly madcap artist”. His live show features Al and his band performing songs spanning his career, in many cases simulating his music videos on stage with elaborate costume changes. Al has created an extraordinary legacy of music and ground-breaking videos, including parodies such as Eat It, Like A Surgeon, Fat, Smells Like Nirvana, Bedrock Anthem, Amish Paradise, The Saga Begins, and many others.

In further testament to Al's enduring appeal, as he approaches his 25th year of poking fun at pop culture, the satirist has amassed 25 Gold and Platinum albums in the U.S., Canada and Australia, He has won two Grammies (and eight nominations) and received an MTV Video Music Award nomination for \"Smells Like Nirvana,” which was named among the \"Top 100 Music Videos Of All Time\" by Rolling Stone. Al's highest-charting, best-selling album to date, Bad Hair Day (1996), went to No. 14 on the Billboard Top 200 where it stayed for 56 weeks and sold nearly 2 million copies.

Michael Jackson, Avril Lavigne, Nirvana, Billy Joel and many more, all agree

THUMBS UP - WEIRD AL!

And not about the Aussie tour, but I don't remember reading this review.

Out of date much? I can only assume that Bermuda isn't the webmaster at bakernorthrop.com.

My bad. There is a Poodle Hat version.

I wasn't quite sure where to put this... It could have gone in the Ebay topic as well. Or perhaps the Hooligan topic. Well, maybe not, because it seems fairly official, and I would imagine they have Al's permission to use the song, and it is a flash thing and not MP3...

Interesting Stuff... 39,000 hits to view the site. 100% sales. Is it possible that perhaps it wasn't just this Kompost (pun is intentional) place's advertising that made it so successful? Perhaps we can ascribe a little bit of the success of the auction to our boy?

I wouldn't worry about hooligans, considering on the second link you provided it says.
The Volcano Records group came to Kompolt with an exciting opportunity under a very tight deadline.

There's also testimonial from a Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation representative. That's the foundation that sponsored those eBay ticket/aftershow auctions earlier this year and the Spongebob auctions that are up now.

Yup, I saw that. That's why Mama Bear didn't bother to make an appearance.

Details, we want details! This intriguing snippet was dropped into the middle of a concert review:

Al is an entertainer at heart, but not too big of a star not to sign autographs and leave an encouraging message for the St. Bonaventure women's lacrosse team on the chalkboard in their locker room.

I suppose you could call the "More Information" phone number posted and ask for Ashley James. With your batting record, you just might get to talk to her.

I'd love to know what he wrote! (And why WAS he in that particular locker room?) Just curious...

I suspect it was his dressing room at the time. But in any case, it was his pre-uxorious days.
