This song was the same as Thriller for me...

It scared the crap outta me when I first heard it, but know I love it

So to answer your question Dragital, I thought it was creepy

It didn't actually scare the crap out of me, though I thought it was really creepy the first time I heard it, especially the screaming part.

Well, with how strict the censors were about the show, I'd say just about every song that wasn't used, and even a few of the ones that were (I was shocked to see a clip of the HN video over the credits of one of the episodes.)

Just do away with the whole show. Seems like it.

It's like the case of 'Spare the rod and kill the child'.
Their censorship is not strict, it's basically remove everything that they don't like.

This is probably my fave song off of I3D as well, and I never thought it was creepy or scary. Having just come out of Cub Scouts into Boy Scouts when I first heard it, I immediately loved it.

i love this song. never thought twice about it being any kind of parody, much less a thriller parody. just a great song.

It's always interesting to see Al performances that are so old (with the bad recording quality, he almost looks like an animation in this clip). Most bands come up early with a sort of signature schtick or stage presence that they then repeat until it gets kind of pitiful looking. Al, on the other hand, started out looking more than a little awkward, what with the flailing around and self-conscious weirdness (albeit he's always been high-energy) and has improved exponentially in his stage presence and showmanship and ability to reach an audience. He's so excellent a stage performer now, it just makes me thankful that he has been able to continue in his career long enough to reach this point. And I will not be surprised if he continues to improve... because Al always puts out a full-on effort, and he notices, and he learns. He never phones it in. Go Al!

The disposable 3D glasses on the backup singers were a nice touch.
