If I'm not mistaken, this is the same theatre I saw a taping of "Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher" several years ago. It's a very nice place to see an Al performance and I might have to squeeze this one into my budget.

Awesome, Fred! Yeah, closest show to my birthday this tour was Al's last date in Australia, one day before. Ah, well. I got a concert the day after my birthday last tour. Too bad I forgot to tell Al that.

Have a great time, Fred, and anyone else going!
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

I'll be there!

This is practically in my back yard! Much better than King's Dominion in my opinion....

The Warner is a great venue. It's an old historic theater that's been refurbished. Very lovely.

Saw Al for the very first time here on Nov. 14, 1999! Aaaahhhhh the memories!

I hope to bring a lot of swim team friends and their children, all first-timers!

Tara Lyn,

I was there for the Nov 14, 1999 performance too and I will be there again for this year's Aug 16 show. Cool! 8)

I'm actually thinking of going to this show instead of the Carowinds or the Rocky Mount, NC shows; I'd love to do all three but it's just not in my budget at this time. Besides, I just ordered a "Yankovic '08" t-shirt from cafepress and what better place to wear it than in DC? I think it would be great if we could get a group of fans wearing that shirt and get our picture taken in front of the White House or take a tour as a group through the Capital!

I just checked the Warner Theatre site and tickets go on sale June 22nd. They're $49.50 for rows AA thru M and $39.50 for all other seats. I really want to go to this show but I don't get paid until the 27th so I'll have to wait until then to get my ticket. Hopefully, there'll still be some good seats left by then.
