Pure Awesomeness.

I was elected to lead, not to read.

Anyone know if that's Danielle Weeks (Cousin Corkey) in that new Jeep Patriot commercial where the two guys take off with the canoe and she follows them, does the ol' Kids in the Hall "crushing you head" trick and grabs a wolf off the cliff and sticks it on the canoe with them?
It sure looks like her, but they don't show her long enough.

I know what commercial you are talking about. Since when do humans have that type of power? Anyway... I can almost picture that woman in my mind and I never made the connection. So I guess to me it does not look like her. Not to say that it isn't though just that I don't think so.

I got 99 problems but BTD ain't one.

My first thought to your post was that he probably would have, but now I'm thinking probably not. According to the commentaries, "He Ain't Heavy, He's My Hamster" was going to be the pilot, but CBS kept pushing it back, and it ended up airing closer to the end of the series.
But Al might have had a special episode that he would have labeled the 27th if the show had kept going....

Despite getting the DVD for Christmas I only just started watching it for the first time tonight. I watched a few episodes of the show back when it was on the air and I remember being really disappointed. Watching it again, now knowing the background of the show, I was able to appreciate it much more. I just watched 2 episodes, plus the commentary on the first episode and I can't wait to watch more.
I have a question though. In the commentary on the first episode they say that they weren't allowed to say the name "Barenaked Ladies" in the show, and yet they do. I'm confused.

Wishing you a Twisted Christmas and a Twisted New Year!

They were worried they might not be able to say the name, because quite frankly, CBS were ridiculous to the show when it came to censorship and the like. So they did one take of Al saying "It's Barenaked Ladies!" and another with "It's BNL!" in case the network wouldn't let them say the band's name.
