Shew... I was on ticketmaster waiting for 10 'o clock, refreshing the page every 5 seconds, and still only got I think 8th row (HH) seats 5-8.

I'm kinda disappointed, but I'm so happy I got as close as I did. The only other Al concert I've been to (July 27th, 2003) I was WAY back there. So I'm pretty excited.

I am pretty bummed aobut the camera rule.
They said no cameras on the last one I went to, so i didn't bring one and when I got in there EVERYONE had a camera, so I'm at least going to try to bring one this time.

I have a pretty expensive good camera... which I'd really like to bring so my pictures turn out fairly well. Do you think I should try to bring that, or buy a cheap disposable one?

I'd bring a disposable one, just in case they don't let you bring cameras in. Otherwise, you'll probably have to take your good camera all the way back to your car.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

Will a disposable take good enough pictures?

I really want good pictures from this concert. I was so disappointed that I couldn't take pictures at my first concert. Maybe I'll just get there very early and that way if I have to take the camera back to the car I'll have time.

Maybe I'll take both so if I have to take my big clunky one back in, I'll be able to hide the cheap one or something.

I don't know what I'm going to do.

You're probably close enough to the stage to get pretty good pictures with a disposable camera.

Well, sounds like a few of you got good seats! I'm so happy for you!

I've been so busy (& poor at the moment due to our previous home not selling yet) that I've intentionally stayed away and look what happened....

I missed the first sale dates of what may be the closest Al will get to Cincinnati.

Hey, can someone tell me why the pre-sale goes on sale 4/25 at 3 pm and people already have tickets that apparently went on sale 4/14? I'm confused. This pre-sale thing this year is interesting...but I'm confused. Can anyone fill me in? What are the chances I'll get a decent seat at all!?

I was planning on collecting signatures too... haven't made the commitment as far as venue, however.
Here comes the FUN, do-do-do-do!

Wow, it is pretty strange that weirdal.com is having a presale after tickets have already gone on sale. I guess they must have saved some fairly decent seats specifically for the purpose of the presale. I'd say it's definitely worth a try to see what you can get from the presale.

The same thing happened with the Merrillville and Keswick shows - a lot of people bought tickets, then the presale came up with even better seats. This could work out in your favor, Accordion Mom!

Well, after buying tickets in the Orchestra section in ROW J when they first went on sale, I now went to the presale and found that they had row BB seats available! Holy crap! I've never sat that close before, so I had to order the tickets.

Now I have two extra Row J seats and nothing to do with them. <_< I'll have to find two other people to take with me who don't mind sitting way far away from me (which is probably a good thing since I tend to get a little nuts at Al concerts). :P
