My dream now is to have all al's song with an animated video!!! :D :D :D

I know...that's impossible...but maybe some of the best old songs....

I wanna see animated video cos i know that can't do live action video right now!! I think that the best thing for this album was (and still it is) make a "Canedian Idiot" live action video!!!

I thought it was slow and needed more visual gags as well. However, I thought the "Black Dog" part was really funny (and actually more animated than the rest). Love the wife's fried hair. I also thought the part where they're driving on the city streets to the drive-thru was particularly well conceived/drawn.

R Wappin's Albuquerque is still my favorite animated Al video.
This means something. This is important.

 That was great! I really liked it. It's a bit different than I had imagined it in my head, and I would have done things a little bit differently if I had drawn out the animation, but I think Doogtoons did a really great job with it. I enjoyed it.

Well, this is the second time I've been unable to access a myspace video. :( I sent an email after I was unable to get the interview with Seth Green, and their response just came today:

Hello,
That issue is currently being resolved. Please be patient.
Thank you

Well, my mom wanted to see it.
So I showed it to her.
She really liked it.
She said the only thing that should have been added was "random sh*t in the background"

Now, we only need a video of some sort for Canadian Idiot and Confessions Part III. I mean, why not? We have every other song with a video attached to it, why not finish off the album, and then release a DVD of highquality versions of everything and call it "The Ultimate Video Collection: Part II: The SOL Collection" or something? 12 videos is enough to release a DVD for. Granted, some people will complain about THAT....

So, anyway...
Yippie!

oh, and for Squirrleygirl and others who can't access the videos, or who want a downloaded copy, I am uploading the FLV file of the video, It's 33 MB...

I am also working on converting the FLV to AVI or MOV or whatever, as well, for those who HATE FLV (like me) or who want it for their iPod, or to burn to DVD (pending The SOL Video Collection)

I am so glad this got made so that I didn't have to. :P

I liked it... it was pretty much just like I imagined it only with different camera angles and stuff. (Of course when you're animating a song with such literal lyrics there really isn't much room for change, heh.) The only thing that bugged me quite a bit was the extremely inexpressive family guy-esque characters. It's what ultimately hurt the video of a song where the lyrics are read with so much emotion. Other than that I think the creator of this animation deserves a pat a back. Especially considering the short amount of time he had to make a almost 11 minute music video. The backgrounds were also very well done.

One thing I was planning to do if had made it was to have a whole piece of toast stuck between the wives teeth in the part where they're driving to the pay window. Well... it was hilarious in my head.

I liked that! It was cool to get a visual of everything, and they did a really good job with it. The facial expressions were especially good, and I really liked both the sequence with them getting in the car/driving to the drive-thru, and the sequence where he turns on the radio. Overall, it was a fun video to watch. It wasn't the best thing I've ever seen, but it still very good.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.
