What do you think the chances are that Al parodies a new George Harrison song on the next ALbum?
As you may know, a new George album is being released November 19. I know George wasn't comfortable with "Pacman" being released, but that was shortly after John Lennon was killed, and George wasn't in a "funny" state of mind. George had a great sense of humor, and I'm sure he would've enjoyed being parodied. Do you think his widow will allow a parody to come out?
I don't think she will, but I sure hope so.

It all depends, he alreay did George on Even Worse, not to say he wont do it again, but that also means that we arent gonna see an album until at least mid-january, which is so not cool. but Al usually tends to do a popular song, I dont think that George will get too popular, though it may beacause of the whole posthumous thing.

Which George didn't really have any say about in the first place, since he didn't write (or first record, for that matter) the original song.It all depends, he alreay did George on Even Worse

I have to agree. Although George's work was often critically acclaimed, he didn't have too many really big mainstream hits. Most likely this final album will sell a little better than his past work, but there will have to be something really great on it to become a big hit single (or at least worthy of becoming one of only five new Al parodies).
And last year wasn't "My Sweet Lord" rereleased as a single in the UK and actually did pretty well? I have a feeling that would end up being the release everyone picked up out of respect.
But hey, I'd be cool with anything Al does that's Fab Four related.
