Thats really sad that he feels that way because I dont think she will get teased. At least I hope she doesnt. I think Nina will be strong like her Dad was when he was being teased, and she will stand up for herself or run. :)

QUOTE The part about apologizing to Nina daily made me a little sad though.  Yeah, I know it was supposed to be funny, but I hope there's not even a little smidgen of truth in it.

Al has nothing to be ashamed of in front of his daughter.  Ever.  It's not like he's the Tidy Bowl Man for a living or anything.

With apologies to the Tidy Bowl Man and his family.  It was just the first example that sprang to mind.

Yeah, why should Al have to apologize? He's a multi-Grammy award-winning artist with some gold and platnium records to his name who has spent most of his life making others smile. If anything, other kids should be jealous of Nina.

I think that would part of the reason they tease if they do, is because their jealous.

No, he just sings "Your eyes are even bluer than the water in my toilet" for a living. :D

It'll be OK. Steve Jay's kids seem to have survived a Weird Al connection unscathed.

I went "aww" and chuckled several times.

What a great interview.

And I'm glad Al loves BFF...cuz I do too, even before I was a hardcore fan.

This is definitely one of the best interviews I've read. It wasn't the same old boring stuff we've read 2700 times.
