Wow! Even starwars.com has gotten into the Al action, with a whole article about him. Follow the link on the front page.

"Weird Al" - Nerdy Something

He discusses "Yoda," "The Saga Begins," his cutting room floor bit from TWAS, "White and Nerdy," and a possible CAMEO in the upcoming live action Star Wars series! :whoot:

That was a pretty good article, but it seemed to have a few mistakes.

*pictures the computer desk with the big Yoda under it*

Cool! My son actually became an Al fan through his love of Star Wars, once I played him TSB.
Hmmm...something's gone horribly awry here...

The only mistake I noticed was Al's own mistake. He says in the quotes that the song W&N has more Star Trek than Star Wars references, thus he had to make up for that in the video. But actually the song doesn't have ANY Star Wars references.

What other mistakes are you talking about?

Well, it also said Al parodies Brian Wilson, The Sparks, and Rage Against the Machine.

Which is true about halfway. But it also implies that they thought the songs were straight parodies.

They either think of style parodies as regular parodies, or don't get the idea of a SP.

A few mistakes, but a good article overall. I really liked it. It explains where the Yoda came from for the Saga Begins video. And Lucas' kids apparently are big fan of Al's too. Nice.

That's a good article, despite the mistakes. It's interesting to read about Al and his "Star Wars" fandom, and I'd love to see Al as Jar Jar's wacky cousin Larry. Also, that Special Edition of TSB video sounds pretty cool.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

What a great article, thanks for finding it, Jeremy!

 I loved the part about him being cut out of the Star Wars movies as a younger brother of Luke...that would've been hilarious.

Maybe by making more Star Wars references in the video than in the song, he meant there weren't any in the original, so 2 was more than 0? I don't know...*continues speculation*
