Cake is one of my favorite bands. This song is spot on. I love it.

El, regarding your spoiler good idea, you're probably right. Either way, I can hardly wait! Man, no actual tour until May-June of next year!

I didn't have time this morning to read through 31 pages (! You guys have been busy!) of previously spoiler-protected posts, so I apologize if this has come up already, but after reading this Rotten Tomatoes page about Joe Dirt I can almost sympathize with the boyfriend in the song.
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.

Is it just me, or is the video for this song a little, what's the word......edgy?

I totally agree. I mean, come on, John K! That's not at all what a habanero pepper looks like.

Well, it was animated by John K., so it's pretty understandable that it's edgy in my mind.

Well, now that I think about it, it's the guys who did Ren & Stimpy. If I remember right, Ren & Stimpy had some pretty weird stuff in it...

well, Al did the animatics for this video....

So, Al kinda was involved in the loop a lot on this video

Plus, I heard this is a tame video compared to other John K. stuff.

In my opinion its a little edgy for young teens, But it is mostly geared toward older adults.

Of course it doesn't matter much because Al is going to put out w/e he wants.

Anyone else find it hilarious the way everything in the video (but especially the women's giggly bits) move with the beat of the music. I love that about John K's videos. I especially like the part where Jillian is talking and the cat's head is bobbing up and down with the music. Also the part where Julie is dancing at the beginning of her verse, lifting her Manolo (which by the way I didn't know what it was until I heard this song and then looked it up) up and down.

I don't know why, but I find those parts hilarious. Am I the only one?
