Cid designed some nice poodle hats that she shared with the audience at the shows in California. I didn't get a chance to wear one because I kept arriving to the shows after she had given them all out.
Besides getting to wear Cid's poodles, Scotti and I also had poodle headbands... but they were kind of a challenge to keep balanced because they were Beanie-clone Poodles (new with tag) and they kept flopping over backward.
I and my family (husband, 3 kids) all wore poodle hats to the Toledo concert.. we actually wore them around the zoo all day, and then through the concert. We were sitting right in front of Steve, and he kept looking at us and grinning real big. I've got pics of us somewhere, but I'll have to dig them out and scan them. Our friends Kat & Brian also wore poodle hats to that and the Cincinnati concert. I got the three different TY poodles I sewed onto my kids' hats off Ebay.
There were a few people at the Oklahoma City show with poodles upon their heads, myself included! But most of them were the beanie baby poodles which are white not grey like Bella. Mine was grey and a stuffed animal not a beanie baby. I was suprised at the number of comments I recieved from wearing it, about how clever I was to think of something like that. Come on people the album's name is POODLE HAT, what else would you wear to the concert?
All of ours are different -- all the kids have different colored TY beanie baby poodles on their hats (black, grey w/french beret, and pink). Mine is a HUGE white poodle which lays on top of my sun hat, and my husband's is a tiny grey poodle with a HUGE nose which sits on his hat brim. Al really liked my son's grey french poodle-on-a-CPFOA-hat.. it does look just like Bela.
I never thought I would be asking this question, but here goes....does anyone have any tips on how to make a poodle hat? That was the first and most likely last time I will ever ask that question.
I noticed some people at the 6-29 show in PINK PHS...in my row--5th row, section 6.... were any of YOU the girls I saw??? :dontgetit: I thought it was a great idea and I was reeeally jealous...
