Strictly Musically Speaking...
If you had Al's entire catalog available in instrumental form, what would you say are the best songs, parody and original each.

Fun Zone.
But seriously this is one of my favorite Al songs. And it just happens to be a instrumental.
Musically I like most of Weird Al's originals much better then his parodys.
I can't pick a favorite, but here is a small list. Fun Zone, You Make Me, Every Thing You Know Is Wrong, Traffic Jam, I'm So Sick of You and This is the Life. And I coudn't bare to leave out Hardware Store and GiF, which are some of Als best written songs yet.
Onto the Parodys, it becomes hard to pick my favorites. But I guess I am fond of Saga Begins and Ode To A Superhero. Yoda is good, as is Livin in the Fridge. Lasagna is great for the Accordian, as is most of the stuff on the "Weird Al" Yankovic Album.
Musically I find most of Al's originals much better then the parodys. Which is sad, because his albums don't sell on the original alone. And probalby never will.

QUOTE I also must add Since You've Been Gone. As a favorite instrumental.
Ah the nothing can beat silence.
:dontgetit: oh man that was bad.
Ahem. The melody of the vocal track was written by Al, but the instrumental track on that song is definitely by Paul Simon.
oh man that was really bad.
and probably three-quarters of the people on this forum are too young to get the joke.
