09/18/06 Radio interview on WZPL

Al is going to be on The Smiley Morning Show on WZPL, Indy's adult top 40 radio station, on Monday to promote the new album! Maybe he'll play a song we haven't heard yet! You can listen at WZPL's site. I don't know if he's going to actually BE IN the studio, he might just be on the phone. I've heard Smiley say someone was going to be in the studio who was actually just on the phone.

I heard White and Nerdy twice today on WZPL, the DJ who played 1955 said White and Nerdy was her favorite Al song.

My guess is a phone interview... why would Al fly to Indiana to appear in person on the RADIO?

But this means the interview season has officially begun! Oh, Joy! Oh, Jubilation! Can somebody record this one?

You'd be surprised actually. Though mostly when an artist comes just for the radio station, they're also doing something else too. Though, there have been artists that will come to a radio station for an interview even if its far away.

Yippee! Fresh Al interviews! I hope the interviewer gets the updated bio information and doesn't ask the Coolio question...

I'll set up a scheduled recording (4-9 central, right?).

If nobody gets it up by noon eastern, I'll have it uploaded.

by the way, they do have a podcast, I'm guessing they'll post the interview a day or two after it airs. just in case nobody gets it recorded for some reason.
