Did anyone else just watch E! News: 7 Deadly Hollywood Sins?

In the Gluttony episode, Al has a 10 second bit. E! talked about the different things on the list of foods/drinks/snacks for backstage munching, and here is what they said about Al after a few other band mentions:

"...and 'Weird Al' wants his chardonnay"

Its just a small mention, but hey! They showed a photo and said his name, that's enough for me.

EDIT: For those of you who missed it, the next time the Gluttony episode airs is June 29th at 8pm (Pacific Time), but please... check your local listings. :-P

Is the implication that chardonnay is on Al's rider? Didn't we seen the Poodle Hat rider actually?

I thought I read once that Al doesn't drink alcohol. Could be mistaken, though.

Al's drinking status seems to change back and forth from "never" to "rarely," so I guess that means he probably drinks only in the most social of situations.

YAY E! It's my faveorite channel but i have never really watched the deadly hollywood sins thing cuz i watched it once and thought it was stupid. And if Al does drink it probably would only be a little bit and not enough to get crazy drunk.

You gotta bear in mind that the tour rider specifies provisioning for the WHOLE entourage. It probably isn't Al's chardonnay in the sense that it's destined for his very own personal gullet, but it could be for the band or just to make sure they have something to offer if wine-aficionado friends come to visit backstage.
