I believe this is cool news, as it has been announced that David Silverman, who designed the MFN/BH animated characters, will be directing next year's "Simpsons" movie!

I love it, Carol!!Congratualtions to Tony Geary, who won a daytime Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series. I love how he plays Luke Spencer, and he deserves to win. I had stopped watching GH years ago, and Tony was a big factor in getting me back into watching again.

You're right! When I first read this part of the article, *the part in bold letters*it didn't sound right. I guess the words first Emmy and in 1982 weren't coming together in my mind. But now I understand it better after re-reading it:
I like how they called him "Laura's other half".
ABC's General Hospital won its record ninth Emmy for Outstanding Drama and picked up five awards total, including Outstanding Drama Series Directing and an Outstanding Lead Actor win for veteran star Anthony Geary, who picked up his first Emmy for playing the now iconic role of Luke Spencer in 1982. Laura's other half has now won five times.
I like how they called him "Laura's other half".
