This was just taken today. I'll be working as an extra on a movie (Yay, the movie industry is coming back to the New Orleans area!!!) and they decided to cast me as a navy officer, so this is my costume. Sorry it's so dark (the name board is so they can keep track of who's costume is who's)

Wow, that's awesome, Karen! And the photo is not dark at all! Have fun doing the movie--I would LOVE to do something like that! What's the name of the movie?

Thanks Vikki! The movie is called Deja Vu and starrs Denzel Washington.

Karen, I envy you. It must be really fun to work in the movie industry. I like Denzel, too. Congrats on getting the extra gig!

I hope you will get the role of an extra , Karen.

I once helped a cameraman walking backwards during a shoot for a TV-programme on Dutch TV , some 20 years ago . He had to be guided to step over a threshold while walking and filming backwards , my friends thought they would be seen in that programme but they weren't. BTW he almost stumbled. >:)

BTW IT was on the day that in the Netherlands , Jeopardy by Greg Kihn was "Alarmschijf" , a short of "tip for the tops". On April the 9th 1983 according the facts , but the Top 40 was broadcasted on the 8th and on that day were the shooting took place.

I do have a job as an extra, which is why I was fitted for the costume. It's just a matter of what they decide to have me do the days I work. I could either just be "walking scenery" (just walking by in the background) or they could tap me and give me something specific to do, matybe even interacting with the stars
