WAY gifts you've gotten

Ok, so my Aunt knows I like Al, so she got me Bad Hair Day. Problem is, I already had it. So I had 2 copies.

Solution: I gave my old copy to a friend who hadnt heard Al before but thought he would like it. He does, really enjoys Amish Paradise and Im So Sick Of You.

Yeah, something like that happened to me this year too. My friend gave me the "Weird Al" Read poster. But, I already have it. So I'm giving it to my friend. He really enjoys reading and enjoys listening to Al. What a great gift for him.

Well, I received a few more items to add to my collection of "things that would be very helpful when throwing an Al-themed party". This year, CB *stupidsurgeon27* gave me a clear plastic bowl with palm trees on it, and a kitchen towel with palm trees and pineapples on it. Previously, she has given me a nice tray that has Hawaiian print on it, a Hawaiian shirt-shaped placemat ad an oven mitt to match!

A relative of mine asked for all kinds of Al CDs so I guess he got those.

I'm supposed to be getting a Saga Begins shirt (and an Elliott Smith shirt, too) from eBay, but my brother only paid for them on Boxing Day (Dec 26th)... They were meant to be my present from him.

Dave gave me a wall Al-endar and the switchplate cover from WAYStar...I think this is going to end up in dining room as that is the only place where I have a single lightswitch that isn't hidden behind something, and darnit...this needs to be seen!

Cool, Jackie! I bought my Alendar before Christmas, but it's looking real nice in my kitchen right now.

I think hubby would kill me if I put that switch plate cover anywhere in the house. Ah, well.

I think my mom outdid herself this year for me. She got me the "Weird Al" Yankovic, In 3-d, DTBS, Even Worse, and UHF records!

Also, a Dr. Demento record too. I'm amazed. My mom has encountered the joys of ebay for me! Sweet! Oh yeah, not to mention an King of Suede 45 plus a I Lost on Jeopardy 45. Go, mom!
