Weird Al Stepmania (ddr) Songs?

Is AL-TV returning or did you find a nice interview? Just tell the folks here.

I was playing with Stepmania yesterday. It's a Dance Dance Revolution style simulator for the PC, and there are hundreds of songs by popular artists for it. To my surprise, one of the songs was "Christmas at Ground Zero". It was not the entire song, but it was still pretty cool to play DDR to a Weird Al song.

I'm wondering if there is anyone else out there who plays this game who may have run across more Al songs, backgrounds and even video created for this game. I'd really like to put together a bunch of levels of his songs for my own personal exercise and enjoyment.

BY the way, if I'm violating any forum rules by asking about this, I apologize. The game itself is shareware, and it is not my intent to get anyone to burn MP3s for me or something crazy like that....I'm just interested in playing more Stepmania with Weird Al songs...and wondering if anyone has found or created any cool levels for it that they'd like to share. :D

I use to play Stepmania/DDR religiously, and when I didn't have my mat hooked up to the computer, I'd play on the keyboard. :P Still a lot of fun.

I, personally, haven't seen any songs out there by Al as stepfiles, but it isn't too hard to make one. I've tried making a few of my own, might actually go back to doing it. But yeah. I'm not sure how many sites they have now for custom files. I know DDR UK had a lot of the official songs from the games, and then there was another site that had custom files, but then it shut down, and then it opened up again, and I forgot the name....oi, I'm not much help....

What would be a good DDR Al song though? Obviously, slow never works well...*gags remembering Silent Hill* Maybe something like Hardware Store?

There's Hardware Store,YHfT, Amish Paradise, and many more... you just need to search reaaaaaal hard.
And (backseat modding time... ) this really belongs in Fan Creativity.
Edit: Slow songs can still be fun. Just set the arrow speed to C400 and music rate to at least 1.3 (fun fun fun! :D )
Visit Elvis' website to read "The Completionist Guide" for accessing all sorts ofWeird Al songs (and sometimes ridiculously miniscule) be it rare gems or ridiculously miniscule from 1973 to 2019. weirdalstar.com/uhf/
